So let's get to it. 5 Healthy Recipes for Breakfast that are also quick and easy to make (except for maybe one of them).
1. Oatmeal with Fruits & Yogurt
Oatmeal doesn't take long to cook. You can nuke it in the microwave for like 2 minutes if you're in a rush. Simply add fruits (mostly berries). The fruit will act as a sweetener, so don't add any sugar or splenda. Believe us, it's better this way. Have a greek non-fat yogurt on the side or throw it into the mix if you want. It's your call.
2. Scrambled Eggs & Toast
This hardly qualifies as privileged information, but the whole reason scrambled eggs and toast is an all-time favorite is because it works. It's nutritious, it doesn't take much time at all, and it's delicious.
Remember to put bread on the toaster before you crack the eggs into the pan. That way the toast will come out at the same time as the eggs and you won't waste time!
3. Turkey Breast Rolls
Place fresh cheese, lettuce or spinach, and tomato and avocado slices on top of a turkey breast slice and roll it up. It's done, you're ready to eat!
4. Banana-Coffee Smoothie
Throw a roughly chopped banana into the blender. Add unsweetened almond milk and coffee. Blend. Pour your drink into a Popit! Eco Travel Cup and there you have it: a delicious breakfast on the go!
5. Banana Oat Pancakes
Alright, so maybe this dish takes up a little bit more time than you'll have on a usual morning, but you too shall have more time on a particular morning than on others, so don't write this off completely.
Throw a banana into the blender with a bit of unsweetened almond milk and butter (a tablespoon). Blend. Now mix it with two cups of oatmeal and one egg. Pour over a hot griddle and, when it's time, turn.
Remember to oil the griddle or spray some cooking oil so that your pancakes won't stick!
Make your mornings great, and the rest of your day shall follow.
