5 Lifestyle Blogs We Love
Lifestyle blogs are amazing. They're always inspiring us, giving us tips, and finding ways to make things easier for the rest of us. One thing they all share is that way they have of focusing on the bright side of things, of finding an opportunity for growth where others see flaws or failure, of reminding us to take a step back and enjoy the little things.
Finding ways to keep yourself healthy and happy is super important, so we want to show you 5 Lifestyle blogs that we love.
1. A Cup of Jo
One thing we love about a Cup of Jo is that Joanna Goddard (the woman behind the blog) is a writer through and through. She's been doing it her whole life, and it shows. Another thing we love is the name of the blog, that's just cute and playful, it's perfect. Most importantly, there's a section of her blog called "Motherhood" which is in its entirety dedicated to that subject; we believe there's a ton of info, thoughts, tips, and insights to take advantage from.
Her blog is divided into 6 different sections: style, food, design, travel, relationships, and motherhood. Visit her blog and check out her cool content, you won't be disappointed.
2. HBFIT
The first thing to notice about HBFIT is that they have a very strict definition of what they're about, and we love that; HBFIT stands for Health, Beauty, and Fitness. Anything else belongs somewhere else. So maybe there's a something else that interests you and you know you won't find it there, but what we think is really cool is that you definitely know right away if their content is for you. If health, beauty, and fitness aren't for you, you'll never go in. Not in a million years. Their transparency, honesty, and commitment to their subject matter are what we love the most about this blog.
The blog is divided into 5 different sections: health, beauty, fitness, tv, and shop. Their tv section is dedicated to videos they produce with regularity about either one of their subjects. Their shop section takes you to grassroots, a healthy juicery they're involved with.
3. Gal Meets Glam
Blogging about style is, contrary to what many may think, extremely hard. A lot of bloggers end up talking about styles that cater to very specific needs or that are simply not applicable to daily life, or even special occasions for that matter. In Gal Meets Glam, Julia Engel talks about style in a very real way, in a way that is attainable. She talks about things you can try, she talks about looks you can rock and that can actually make you feel pretty awesome.
Gal Meets Glam is divided into a lot of sections, but perhaps the most important one is "GMG now" which is a section featuring the latest content of Gal Meets Glam.
4. Cupcakes & Cashmere
This blog started as a way for Emily Schuman to celebrate the things she love, so yeah, the title seems pretty much spot on. Eventually, Cupcakes & Cashmere became turned into a reminder to enjoy the little things in life, and so the blog took this very same focus: they're dedicated to the search for little things they take great pleasure in, and then sharing that with you, hoping that those things can have a similar effect on their readers, which seems to be working.
One thing we find very interesting among the categories in which this blog is divided is the section "DIY" which features very fun ideas you can try.
5. The Balanced Blonde
Life changes, time goes on, and so do we. The Balanced Blonde has behind it an interesting story of personal change; you see, Jordan Younger used to be a vegetarian, but she gave that up for a more balanced life (and diet). All things considered, it took a lot of courage for her to be upfront about the changes in her life, and she was heavily criticized for it, but she was strong (scratch that), she is strong. She blogs about everything related to wellness, loves yoga, that kind of thing, you get it.
The blog features a lot of cool and healthy recipes for you to try, fitness tips, etc. Definitely worth checking it out.
And that's our list. We really hope you check out some of the cool content these blogs have to offer, and what's most important, we hope you enjoy it!
