Marinated Chicken

Makes 1 serving


This marinated chicken packs all the flavor you need for your healthy lunch at work.


Ingredients: 

  • 1 Chicken Breast
  • 2 tbs Mustard
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 tbs Maggi Sauce
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 Onion
  • 2 Lemons
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 tbs Vinegar
  • 3 tbs Olive Oil 

Rub the mustard on the chicken breast and add salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 tbs of Maggi sauce, 1 tbs of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbs of lemon juice, 1 tbs of vinegar, 1 chopped garlic clove, 3 tbs of olive oil, and sliced onion (1/4). Mix it all up, marinate for 2 hours and then cook in a pan.


Tip: You can prepare the marinade in a Popit! container and when you're done adding all the ingredients simply close it and shake it.


Bacon Rice

Total time: 13 min

Makes 1 serving


This is a perfect side dish for anything you wish to take for lunch!


Ingredients

  • 3 Pieces of Bacon
  • 1/2 Cup Cooked White Rice

Cook bacon until it turns brown and crispy. Remove excess fat with a napkin or paper towel. Chop the bacon slices, add them to the white rice and mix them up!


Tip: Cooking the bacon on a grill will allow the grease to fall off of it.


Mushrooms

Prep time: 5 min

Total time: 15 min

Makes 1 serving


A healthy and delicious add-on to your daily lunch.


Ingredients:

1 Cup Mushrooms

1/2 Tomato

1 Garlic Clove

1 tbs Oil

Salt & Pepper


Slice the Mushwrooms and chop the tomato and garlic clove. Using low fire, cook it all in a pan with a little bit of oil and stir until it looks right (10 min). Add salt and pepper to taste.


Tip: You can spray oil on the pan instead of simply pouring it, this will reduce the amount of oil you use to cook and make your dish healthier.
